A bit about me.. I was born and raised in Southern California, spent a few years living a vacation lifestyle on Maui and planted my roots on the Central Coast in 1997. For the first decade of motherhood, I was fortunate enough to be able to "stay at home" with my kids. In 2010, it was time to get back in the workforce. I took a job as a paraprofessional in our local school district. The schedule worked with my schedule as a mom, but it was not going to pay the bills. So, at that same time, I went back to school to get my Medical Billing certification.

This position has offered the flexibility to choose my own days and hours.Fast forward to 2022, I have one child in college, another graduating high school and I am still going strong with both careers! I find that all of my roles work together to keep me a balanced human. My position on Marlena's team is very rewarding. I enjoy the challenge and gratification of assuring our healthcare and insurance system operates as it was designed. The world of medical insurance can be overwhelming and confusing. If you are fortunate enough to be a client of The Yellow House Project, I know your focus is on your health. In order to alleviate some of your worries, I promise I will do everything in my power to make sure your insurance pays as it should.
